I love your interpretation; how wise and comforting to know that I can try different paths to see which one I want to keep walking. I put so much pressure on myself to make the 'right' decision, afraid of stumbling or failing, when stumbles are inevitable and I need to try things with the faith that they'll go well.
If you don't know what direction you want to go in, you can pick one to try and see if you like it. My littlest sister told me that some people make choices to limit their future options, but while she observed it, she didn't understand doing that. She said it made more sense to her to make choices that increased her future options.
I have never thought of this before, and I'll keep this with me as I go through life. That's a big perspective shift for me. Thank you!
