I think it was a lot tougher than I realized at the time. And a lot tougher than it would have been had I realized it, since I would then have been more proactive about making some doctor give me what I needed!

I hate it that even with all my years' experience, I can't always tell when I'm "just normally chronically ill" and when it's something worse.
